Joelle A. DeAngelo, LE, CLP , owner of "The Skin Sanctuary, LLC" at SmoothTouch MediSpa , is a N.Y.S. Licensed Esthetician. A former model with the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency, Joelle is now applying her knowledge and her love of skin care at Smooth Touch. As a model she loved how a face was a canvas and could be created into anything a makeup artist chose and with good skin it was a breeze. But seeing that a large percentage of models did not have good skin either from acne, not enough sleep, poor diet or just too much partying it sparked her interest to find our more about skincare. From there is where her journey begins and today she consistantly educates and helps her clients achieve flawless skin. "My clients are always on the go and they want convenient and immediate results and i've made it my job to provide them just that."
Joelle is a graduate of the Nail & Skin Care Institute, attended continuing education classes at The Dermal Institute and is NYS certified in Esthetics, Warm Stone Massage, Hungarian Facial Massage, Chemical Peels, Full Body Waxing, Lymphatic Drainage & Body Treatments. Ms. DeAngelo was formerly employed by renowned dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross who created the prestigious mdskincare™ product line, where she was educated on the science of skin care. Laser Skin Rejuvenation and Laser Hair Removal are also part of her expertise.
Ms. DeAngelo's laser training consists of a 30-hour training course at the Cosmetic Therapy Training Center in Columbus, Ohio (licensed by the Medical Board for the State of Ohio) as well as attendance at Candela Corporation's Laser seminars. She is a Certified Laser Professional (CLP) through the Allied Health Association.
